Faculty Development Programme

The IQAC Cell organized two days Faculty Development Programme dated on 25th November 2022 and 26th November 2022 on the topic “Establishing Teacher-Students Congruence for effective learning (when two things are similar on fit together well-congruence)”The Resource Person Dr. Elumalai Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, GFGC, KGF. Dr. Rekha Sethi, IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. L Jayapandian, Heads of all the departments were present and 55 Faculty Members participated in the Faculty Development Programme

Commemoration of Shaheed Diwas

No. of participants: 60 students

Shaheed Diwas is commemorated on March 23rd every year to remember the sacrifice of three extraordinary revolutionaries of India-Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar.

This day is observed to pay homage to the unsung heroes of our nation.

The Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJC, KGF commemorated Shaheed Diwas and created awareness about their thoughts, philosophies and revolutionary nature to the students.

The Chief Guest was Dr.Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJC, KGF and the Guest of Honour Dr. L. Jayapandian, IQAC Coordinator, SBMJC, KGF.

Ms. Elizabeth Rani, Ranger Leader, Ms. Sangeetha D S, Ranger Leader and Mr. Nagesha P, Coordinator of Rovers crew were present.

World Water Day

The Eco Club, SBMJFGC, KGF observed World Water Day on 22nd March 2024  and created awareness for the public of the KGF. People are educated about water pollution, prevention and importance of water in our day to day life.

20 students and 5 faculty members actively participated in the awareness program.

SESSION ON HRM AND SCOPE OF HR

Objective of the session

To understand the scope of future HRM and role of HR in modern era.

About the session

The speaker highlighted about scope of HRM in the areas of personal aspects, welfare aspects and industrial aspects.  The session was also about the current and e merging trends and the challenges that HR professionals face.

Outcome of the session.

The session helped the students to know the scope and importance of HR and Job role of HR.
