The Placement Cell of SBMJFGC, KGF in association with Grass Root, Bengaluru conducted campus drive for the final year degree students and passed out degree students on 4th August 2023 in the auditorium from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Student Welfare Council (SWC) in association with Alumni Association Organised Career Guidanceon “Build your Future Career” to help students understand their strengths, weaknesses, and interests, and provide them with a clearer picture of the career paths available to them. Ms.Afseena Alumni of SBMJFGC, KGF has called as a resource person to give a guest lecture on Career Guidance.
The following are the topics explained : 1. Choosing the right career 2. What type of career should be chosen? 3. Life after college 4. Required skills for career enhancement 5. How to balance work life by choosing the career 6. Mistakes that the student should avoid while choosing the career
The Women Empowerment Cell organized an Awareness Programme on “Legal Rights Of Women In India”, for girl students from all the streams.
Resource Person: Dr. Thanga Pramila, MA, LLB, LLM, PHD in Law, Assistant Professor Sri Kengal Hanumanthaiya Law College, KGF.
No. of participants: 200 Girl students and women faculty members.
Outcome : To sensitize women and girls about their Rights as provided under various Laws in Indian Penal Code where, every women has the right to live in dignity, free of fear, coercion, violence and discrimination so, the law serves as a weapon to all the women against the domestic violence and the students gained the knowledge on how to appeal and suit case for the same. And also the Women Empowerment Cell student Coordinators enhanced the orientation and the importance of Women Empowerment Cell working in the college exclusively for the upliftment of girl students.
The IQAC of SBMJFGC, KGF in association with Aakash Byju’s Bengaluru organised Career Guidance Program on 21st July 2023 in the auditorium from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
180 students and 05 faculty members participated in the program.
