The Student Welfare Council (SWC) has organized Engineers Day on 15th September 2023 this day is celebrated to commemorate the achievements of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (Sir MV) on his birth anniversary. Visvesvaraya played a significant role in shaping India’s infrastructure and industrial landscape, including overseeing the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara Dam. Visvesvaraya worked as a construction engineer for the British government before becoming Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Mysore.
Dr. Srinivas Prasad D S, department of Kannada, SBMJFGC, KGF has been called as a resource person to give a talk on the achievements and contributions made by Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
Department of commerce conducted one day workshop on “FINANCIAL LITERACY AND STOCK MARKET ” for BCOM students On 11/07/2022. It was benefited to students by gaining knowledge on the following concepts. 1. Stock market analysis 2.Opening of DEMAT account 3 Equity Markets 4 SIP Investing 5.Case studies 6.Savings and investment opportunities 7. Role of Financial advisor 8.Genaral Ideas

The Department of Hindi has conducted HINDI DIWAS under SPARSH – 2023 in two PARTS One on 11th September, 2023 and 14th September, 2023. This programme was conducted in connection with HINDI DIWAS.
The department has conducted different programmes for the Degree and inter School College Students on 11th September, 2023. The chief guest are Dr. Lakshmi Devi. D Professor Government First Grade College Kolar and Dr. Rekha Sethi Principal, SBMJFGC, KGF.
On 14th September 2023, the program was inaugurated by Dr. Rekha Sethi Principal, SBMJFGC, KGF. Ms. Meenakshi Asst. Prof. Dept. of Hindi addressed the gathering. Ms. Usha Kumari Asst. The Department of Life Science observed National Nutrition Week from 1st – 7th September 2023. Nutrition is the focal point of health and well-being. The aim of the program is to create nutrition awareness through various activities
AWARENESS PROGRAMFlash Mob on National Nutrition Week 2023 The B.Sc Biotechnology students performed Flash Mob on 31st August 2023 in order to raise awareness about Healthy diet and its importance for the students and faculty members of SBMJC, KGF. 350 and 40 faculty members were actively involved.
DAY-1Inauguration and Guest Lecture National Nutrition Week was inaugurated on 1st September 2023 by Ms. Savitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietitics. The guest addressed the gathering on the fuel for the future and enlightened the theme with the importance of nutrients for vital functions of the body and meditation. The Principal highlighted about the nutrients in our day to day life. 60 students and 8 faculty members participated.
DAY-2Quiz competition Quiz competition was conducted on 2nd September 2023 on Nutrition and deficiency diseases. B.Sc Biotechnology students actively participated and learnt about the nutrients. 16 teams participated in quiz competition.

DAY-3Healthy recipe competition A healthy diet helps to protect against malnutrition. Consuming a healthy diet throughout the life-course helps to prevent malnutrition. This event was organized to bring awareness on balanced diet and its importance on 4th September 2023. 43 students participated in this competition.
