The Instant Reel Making Competition aimed to:

Graduation Day-2025

The 18th Graduation Day celebration was held on May 16th, 2025, at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade Jain College KGF. The ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, faculty members, graduating students, and their families. Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal of Jain College, delivered the Graduation address, highlighting the institution’s achievements and future plans, emphasizing the importance of this milestone for the graduating class.

The event was graced by the presence of Sri Mahendra Munooth ji, Managing Trustee, who added dignity and prestige to the occasion. The ceremony featured the distribution of awards to meritorious students, recognizing their academic excellence and contributions to the college community. Degrees were conferred upon the graduating students, marking a significant milestone in their lives.

Notably, the college’s placement efforts yielded impressive results, with 78 students being placed in the campus drive, showcasing the institution’s strong industry connections and the employability of its graduates. The occasion was filled with a sense of accomplishment and pride as students, faculty, and guests celebrated the achievements of the graduating class. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.

Introduction

The Intra-college fest, AAVISHKAR -2024, was held on 29.November.2024 at SRI BHAGAWAN MAHAVEER JAIN COLLEGE,KGF .The event was organized by CULTURAL FORUM with the aim of promoting teamwork, creativity, and talent among students.

The fest featured a variety of events and activities, including:

  • Cultural events: Singing, Dancing,Ethinic wear, Reels making , Fashion show(Mr& Ms –AAVISHKAR-2024 ) and Treasure hunt.
  • Literary  and Commerce events: Hard sell,poster making,
  • Fine arts events: Mehendi, Face painitng,  Photography,rangoli, Best out of waste and Candle carving

Participation and Winners

The fest saw enthusiastic participation from students across various departments around 598 participant  . The winners of each event were awarded prizes and certificates.

The objective of the orientation program was to welcome and introduce newly admitted degree students to the college community, familiarize them with the academic environment, and provide essential information to ensure a smooth transition.

Program Details:

For 2 days invited parents along with students

17.09.2024 and 18.09.2024

17.09.2024 –B.com and BBA

18.09.2024-Bsc (PMCs and BGB) and BCA

Inaugural Session:

– Orientation by Dr.Rekha Sethi

– Introduction to college history, mission, and vision

– Overview of academic programs and policies

Technical Sessions:

– Academic regulations and procedures

– Course structure and syllabus

– Faculty introductions and departmental overview

– Library and resource center orientation

– Student support services (counselling, career guidance)

Resource Persons:

– Principal Dr.Rekha Sethi

– Office Superintendent Mr.Babu

-Training and Placement Officer Mr.Jayapandian .L

Participants:

– 354 newly admitted degree students

– 50 faculty members

– 10 student volunteers

Outcome:

The orientation program achieved its objectives, as evident from:

– Positive feedback from participants (95% satisfaction rate)

– Increased student engagement and interaction

– Clarification of academic doubts and concerns

– Establishment of connections between students, faculty, and staff

Recommendations:

– Conduct regular follow-up sessions to ensure students’ adjustment

– Provide additional support for students with special needs

– Review and refine the orientation program for future cohorts

The orientation program successfully introduced degree students to the college community, providing essential information and fostering a sense of belonging. We look forward to witnessing the students’ growth and success.

RETRO DAY

Date: 28th .5.2024

The student’s Dress up in Retro fashion and Channel their self in to 60s, 70s, or 80s style and put together a Retro outfit for the day. All around 800 students participated actively from all the streams.
