Free health camp

The Department of Life Science in association with Manipal Hospital Bengaluru organised free health camp on 27th August 2022 at SBMJFGC, KGF.

200 public members 60 students and 10 faculty members actively participated in the camp and availed the following facility:
1.GRBS
2.BP and ECG
3.Sonogram
4.Liver Function Test
5.Kidney Function Test
6.Thyroid Function Test
7.Lipid profile
8.Total blood count. 9. Tread Mill Test

Farewell Function

The Department of Life Science conducted farewell function to bit goodbye to the final year students of BGBT on 18th August 2022. The juniors Refreshed their memories during the three years of the stay in the campus and honored them with the gifts and conducted games.

Dr. Rekha Sethi Principal SBMJFGC, KGF wished them and motivated the students to be sucessful in the future.

District Level Competition

Reshma Sultan of final year BGBT has participated in district level essay writing completion on “AIDS awareness” held on 11th August 2022 in District Health Office, Kolar.

Reshma Sultan of final year BGBT student has won second place with a cash prize and the prize distribution by the district health officer to the students were held on 12th August 2022 in Govt First Grade College, Malur.

Guest lecture

The Department of Life Science conducted Guest lecture on career guidance on 9th August 2022 from 10:30 am to 11:45 am through online mode.

Resourse Person: Mr. Varshith M. R., Research Scholar, Manipal University, Mangalore

Total : 45 students and 5 faculty members participated .
