Nipun Training Camp was arranged in Scout’s Bhavan, Kolar from 24/06/2024 to 27/06/2024 to all the Under Graduates college students of Bengaluru North University.
7 Students from Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJC, KGF, took part in the camp and completed the Nipun Training with Exam.
Certificates of Nipun Exam were distributed to the students on the orientation day in our college on 12/08/2024
The Rovers and Rangers of SBMJFGC KGF Organised Swachhata Karyakrama (Shramadhan) at Scouts and Guides Bhavan,KGF on 22nd August 2024. Ms. Sangeetha D S Ranger Leader, Mr. Nagesha P, Rovers Scout Leader, Ms. Elizabeth Rani, Ranger Leader were present.
The Chief Guests are Mr. Babu, District Scouts and Guides Organiser, Mr. K.R.Suresh District Scouts Commissioner, Dr. Rekha sethi, Principal SBMJFGC, KGF and Mr. Navendran, Pro, SBMJC,KGF.
Orientation programme on Scouts and Guides was organized by Rovers and Rangers Unit of SBMJFGC, KGF for all the 1st year Degree students on 12th August 2024 in the conference hall at 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
The program was inaugurated by K R Suresh, District Commissioner, Scouts and Guides Kolar and spoke about the importance about Scouts and Guides.
Mrs. Umadevi, District joint secretary, Scouts and Guides Kolar, gave the information about scouting.
Mr. Babu V, District organizer, gave the information about what changes can be achieved if a student joins the unit as a human, what are the benefits that can be achieved.
The Orientation Programme was presided by Dr. Rekha sethi, Principal of the college and shared her thoughts about the Rovers and Rangers unit.
The senior Rovers and Rangers received the Nipun exam completion certificates from the Guests.
The Orientation programme was organized by Ms. Elizabeth Rani, Ranger Leader,
Ms.Sangeetha D S, Ranger Leader, Mr.Nagesha P Rover Scout Leader, and senior Rovers and Rangers.
No. of students participated: 250
Outcome: Students understood the importance of Scouting. Students learnt the basics of Scouting.
On 07 July 2023 Rovers and Rangers of SBMJC – K G F, took an initiative to facilitate Students, Faculty members and Other interested citizens of Karnataka (K G F), to register free online to avail the GruhaJyothi benefit (Free Electricity) an initiative by Government of Karnataka which was launched exclusively for the benefit of household.
The Rovers and Rangers actively took part in the Registration and helped the needy people to register for free of cost.
25 People were benefitted by this initiative.

On 1 July 2023 to 04 July 2023 Sri Kshetra Kaiwara, The Trustee members of the Temple organized Gurupooja Sangeetha utsava at Kaiwara. For this event the District association gave a call to all the Rovers and Rangers of the district.
The Rovers and Rangers of SBMJFGC – K G F, took an initiative to render the Service at Gurupooja Sangeetha utsava. This was held at Kaiwara from 1 July 2023 to 3 July 2023. List of Rovers and Rangers actively took part and rendered service at this event.
Students learnt the way to manage the crowd. And co ordination.
