As the part of Wash in Schools campaign organised by Rotary District 3190, we from Rotaract Club SBMJC-KGF took part in the campaign and visited schools in Bangarpet and in KGF and created awareness about hygiene and cleanliness. Rotaractars also demonstrated the students how to wash their hands and how to keep their hands clean and tidy. Rotaractars were divided into two teams, one visited schools in KGF and another in Bangarpet. In total eight schools were visited, covering nearly 1000+ students. The campaign was a attempt to get into the genius world records, by covering one lakh students on 6th June 2017. The school students were given pamphlets and posters and badges containing information about how be hygiene and encouraged them to spread a word about the benefits of cleanliness and washing of hands. Rotaractars who took part in the event were Rtr Nitin Kashyap, Rtr Kishore, Rtr Suman Prasad, Rtr Umrazz, Rtr Panindra, Rtr Chethan, Rtr Vikas, Rtr Iylen, Rtr Saba, Rtr Dorothy. Thank you guys for spearing your time and help create awareness about cleanliness and hygiene among students. And also thank you for Schools and it’s officials for letting us create awareness to your students. The schools rotaractars visited are Little Flower School, Government Higher Primary School, Government Urdu School and SVR Global Standard in Bangarpet. St Charles Primary School, Mahaveer Jain School and Vivekananda School in KGF. Thank you everyone for allowing us and contributing to a great cause.

World Health Day
On the occasion of World Health Day (7th April), the camping started at 9 am with a simple inaugural session with the presence of Mr.Mahendar Munoth and our beloved Principal, Dr.Rekha Sethi and Managing Trustee of Kempegowda Medical Service Trust, Shiva Shankar. On the occasion of World Health Day (7th April), the camping started at 9 am with a simple inaugural session with the presence of Mr.Mahendar Munoth and our beloved Principal, Dr.Rekha Sethi and Managing Trustee of Kempegowda Medical Service Trust, Shiva Shankar.
There were nearly 250 people being registered for the health camp among which 80 people donated blood and 30 people enrolled for their name for eye donation and there were 170 people being done with a free eye check-up and 80 units of blood were received from the donors which was a huge success.

Medical Check up for the Marathon
The Medical Check up for the Marathon organised by Rotary Club of KGF and Rotaract Club of SBMJC- KGF went on very smoothly..
