Dance Competition 2025 

The Department of Kannada, Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, K.G.F, organized Dance Competition on 21st  March, 2025 from 01:45 pm to 03:00 pm. The students actively participated in the competition.

04 faculty members coordinated and 16 students actively participated in the competition.

Joy of Giving 2025

The Department of Business Administration and Management Forum organized Mega event “Joy of Giving” on 24th March 2025, at the college campus the program envisaged in holistic development of the BBA Students and provided with food and gifts, as a mark of CSR Activity. In which 130 school children from 5 different Schools participated and received gifts like School Bag, Writing pad, Books, Water bottle, pen, pencil, Scale, Eraser, Pencil box, Crayons, Biscuit, Chocolate,  Towel, Rice, Wheat Floor, Lunch and Snacks.

Out come: This Program helped in bringing an new approach towards the society and wellbeing.

FOUNDER’S DAY

On 22nd February 2025, the Rovers and Rangers Unit celebrated the birth anniversary of Lord Robert Baden Powell. A PowerPoint presentation was presented to the participants to commemorate and recognize the vision, dedication, and achievements of Lord Robert Baden Powell and celebrating his milestones achieved since its inception.

Objective:  To help to generate new ideas and see the possibilities at sophisticated levels.

Outcome: The Students in there feedback expressed that they had an opportunity to understand the achievements of the founder.

WORKSHOP  ON “INVESTMENT DIVERFICATION STATERGY”

  • Introduction:
    The session was introduced by Mr. Praveen N, who emphasized the growing significance of financial literacy among students and the role of investment strategies in securing long-term financial goals.
  • Resource Person’s Address:
    Mr. Arun Kumar A, an Independent Financial Advisor and Partner at Angel One Ltd., shared his extensive knowledge on investment diversification. His presentation covered:
    • The basics of investment diversification and its necessity in mitigating risk.
    • Different asset classes for investment, including equities, bonds, and real estate.
    • Practical strategies to build a diversified portfolio.
    • Case studies and examples highlighting successful diversification tactics.
  • Interactive Session:
    The resource person engaged students with real-life scenarios, allowing them to ask questions and share their experiences. This interactive segment helped clarify doubts and provided deeper insights into the topic.

Outcome: 1. The workshop helped 62 students gain a better understanding of how diversifying investments can protect against market volatility and maximize returns. 2. Students expressed interest in learning more about practical investment strategies and managing their financial portfolios effectively.

Conclusion: The workshop was a successful learning opportunity for the students, providing them with essential tools and knowledge for future financial decision-making. With the expertise shared by Mr. Arun Kumar A, the participants now have a foundational understanding of how to strategically diversify their investments for long-term financial growth.

Report on Visit of Colonel Zakir Husain, Administrative Officer of 10 Kar Battalion to Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College KGF NCC Unit

Purpose of the Visit:

The primary objective of Colonel Zakir Husain’s visit was to assess the functioning of the NCC unit at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF, and to review the activities, discipline, and overall performance of the cadets. Additionally, the visit aimed to encourage the students to engage in more disciplined and structured activities, fostering their overall development through NCC participation.

Objectives of the Visit:

  1. Assess the Functioning of the NCC Unit
  2. Review of Training Facilities
  3. Encourage Cadets’ Personal Development
  4. Promote National Service and Army Careers
  5. Provide Feedback on NCC Activities
  6. Strengthen Communication Between NCC Officials and Cadets

Observations and Activities:

  1. Introduction and Welcome: Colonel Zakir Husain was warmly welcomed by the Principal, the NCC Caretaker, IQAC coordinator, Staff and cadets of the unit. The visit commenced with an introduction to the staff and cadets, followed by a brief overview of the NCC unit’s activities.
  2. Inspection of NCC Facilities: Colonel Husain conducted a thorough inspection of the NCC facilities at the college. He inspected the training equipment, infrastructure, and training areas. Special attention was given to the upkeep and preparedness of the cadet uniforms and the overall cleanliness of the NCC grounds.
  3. Interaction with Cadets: Colonel Husain addressed the NCC cadets and shared his valuable insights on the importance of discipline, leadership, and teamwork. He highlighted how NCC serves as an excellent platform for personal growth and national service. The cadets had the opportunity to interact with Colonel Husain, asking questions related to their training and career prospects in the armed forces.
  4. Motivational Speech: Colonel Zakir Husain gave a motivational speech, emphasizing the significance of serving the nation through NCC and the armed forces. He urged the cadets to maintain a high level of physical fitness, ethical conduct, and dedication to their duties. He also discussed various opportunities available to NCC cadets in the army and other defence services.
  5. Review of NCC Events: Colonel Husain reviewed past events conducted by the NCC unit, including camps, social services, and leadership programs. He commended the unit for their active participation and highlighted areas of improvement.
