The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, in association with the IQAC, celebrated National Education Day on 11th November 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s first Education Minister and freedom fighter, Shri Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
More than 250 students participated in the programme. Various competitions were organized, including an essay writing competition on the topic “National Education Policy.”
The Chief Guest for the programme was Dr. B. K. Manjula, Head, Department of Kannada, SBMJFGC. Dr. L. Jayapandian, IQAC Coordinator, Dr. L. Kasturi, Head, Department of Commerce, and Mr. Tony, Head, Department of Management Studies, also graced the occasion.
