Poster making is a powerful and versatile tool for communication, used for Education, Advertisement and social awareness. Posters can simply grab the attention, convey messages effectively and even inspire action, making them valuable in various contexts.
In this connection our college conducted poster making the offstage event as a part of Aavishkar in which 74 students actively participated to showcase their talent in designing various posters. This shall really enhance creativity, skills and knowledge to know the world. It also promotes integrity, patriotism, and bring social awareness among the students

A Career Guidance Program was organized by the Final Year Bcom Students of Department of Commerce with the aim of providing valuable insights into competitive and professional career paths—UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Objective: To celebrate world scarf day
Each year on August 1, scouts across the world celebrate World Scout Scarf Day. This day is for all active and former scout members to showcase their scout pride by wearing their scarf’s in public. Hence, over time, the scouts’ scarf has become a symbol of strength and courage.
The Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJC, KGF celebrated world Scarf Day and shared the importance of Scarf Day with the students. Students learnt the law and Prayer of scouts.
The Chief Guest Dr.Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJC, KGF emphasized the significance of Scarf day.
Mr. Nagesha P, Rover Scoute Leader, Ms.Elizebeth Rani, Ranger Guide Leader, Ms.Sangeetha D S, Ranger Guide Leader were present.
OUTCOME: Students understood the importance of Scarf Day.
Mr. Kalai Chalvan, HOD of the Physical Science Department, organized an orientation session for the SEP batch students on July 07, 2025. The primary objective of the orientation program was to welcome and introduce the new batch of students to the PMCs course, familiarize them with the college environment, and provide essential information to ensure a smooth transition. Additionally, the program aimed to inform students about the various job opportunities available in the field, along with guidance on higher education options after PMCs, preparation for government examinations, and insights into potential salary packages.
Counseling Centre Grievance Cell conducted Orientation Programme on for Ist Year I Sem BCA (A and B Section) and B.Sc( BGB and PMCs) students on 21th July 2025 at 10.00 am in the Auditorium and for Ist Year I Sem B.Com and BBA on 21th July 2025 at 12.10 pm in the Auditorium.

Meaning of Counseling:-
Counselling refers to the process of providing guidance, support, and advice to individuals or groups who may be facing personal, emotional, psychological, or interpersonal challenges. It is a form of talk therapy, it will give advice or professional help to resolve personal or psychological problems. It is a purposeful learning oriented and private interview between the counselor and counselee. It is the individualized and personalized assistance with personal, educational, vocational problems. It is the process where an students meet with a trained professional counselor to talk about their academic and personal issues.
Objective:
To Organize awareness programme for students in suitable concepts.
To achieve positive mental health
Resolve their academic and personal issues and put them on right track with confident.
To encourage students to develop special abilities and right attitudes.
To establish mutual understanding between Counselor and Counselee
Outcomes:
Helps people to move towards their goals.
It enhances their overall wellbeing & takes the initiative of putting back the students on the right track.
It created positive mind set towards the students.
The motivational speech created how to face the personal & inter personal problems in the society.
