The Student Welfare Council (SWC) organized an orientation program on “STOCK MARKET” for 1st semester B.com and BBA Students conducted by STOCKBYTE, Bangalore.

WORLD SOIL DAY -Hands on Training -Testing of Soil and Water in KGF

The Eco Club observed the World Soil Day 2023 (WSD) from 5th December 2023 to 12th December 2023 with the theme “Soil and Water:A source of Life” to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil and to advocate for the sustainable management of soil resources.

34 Students and 2 faculty members  actively  involved in hands on training in testing the soil  and water samples at various places in KGF and observed the results.

It is a unique platform that not only celebrates soils but also empowers and engages the  Student community to understand the quality of soil, importance of organic farming and impacts of chemical fertilizers.

The World AIDS Day

Red Ribbon Club of SBMJFGC  and in association with Indian Medical Council KGF, KGF Taluk Legal Services Committee, Taluk Health Department KGF and Advocates Association KGF  participated in Mega rally from Municipal stadium  to observe “The World AIDS Day with the theme” Let Communities Lead ” on 1st December 2023. 

100 students and 2 faculty members  participated .

World Aids Day

The Department of Life Science in association with Indian Medical Council KGF, KGF Taluk Legal Services Committee, Taluk Health Department KGF and Advocates Association KGF  participated in Mega rally from Municipal stadium  to observe “The World AIDS Day with the theme” Let Communities Lead ” on 1st December 2023.  65 students and five faculty participated and made the event a great success . 

Aid Awareness Program

The NSS Unit of SBMJFGC, KGF in association with Department of Life Sciences SBMJFGC, KGF organised “Aid Awareness Program” to create awareness among the student community on 1st December 2023 in the auditorium at 1:45 pm

The program was hosted by Dr. L. Jayapandian NSS Officer Welcome speech given by Ms. Louisena Vinoth Priya Asst. Prof., Dept. of Life Sciences, SBMJFGC, KGF.

Total – 210 students and 5 faulty members participated
